The latest updates on information selling and running an online infoproduct businessGoogle reveals its secrets for positioningGoogle has revealed some of its secret methods of ranking pages thanks to its application for a patent covering its technology. What this patent application shows is that speakers need to do several things in order to ensure their pages get high ranking within Google. The patent application shows that where you host your site is important and who is listed as the contact in the WHOIS record can also influence your listing. Google appears to check whether or not your host and your contacts are 'OK'. For instance, if you are hosted on the same server as plenty of 'adult' sites, you could lose ranking as a result.

Firesales work - try one for digital products!Having a 'firesale' works, even for digital products which cannot really be 'damaged' by a fire! A 'firesale' is when retailers sell of damaged stock that may have been affected by the smoke in a fire. It seems that online purchasers cannot get out of the habit of looking for a bargain, so when online marketers advertise their 'firesales' they generate increased traffic and more sales and profits. But how do you go about setting up an online firesale for an information product or ebook? Luckily there is a teleseminar available from a couple of experts in this field. But if you look on the web for it you'll discover it costs money. Thankfully, I've been able to obtain the audio and the transcripts for you COMPLETELY FREE OF CHARGE. Simply go to: http://www.infoselling.com/firesale for more details.

Don't delay - write your ebook NOW!I've just been looking at some research results about the infoproduct business. The most successful people in the information product game are those who keep producing new ebooks. Once they get an idea, they produce the book as quickly as possible. The trouble is I know dozens of people who keep telling me that they want to make a million using the Internet, but they just can't find the time to produce their book. Well guess what? They won't make a million - or a penny probably. Why? Because they are always finding a reason to do something else. If you want to make money from infoproducts you have to create the products - NOW. Otherwise your idea is bound to be thought of by someone else - and if that someone else is an existing infoproduct king or queen, you'll find your chances of making money taken away from you. So don't delay - get writing now!

Include links in your ebooksYour ebooks are not the end result of your work when you create an infoproduct. Instead, think of your ebook simply as another sales promotion tool. If you do that, you'll find ways of including material in each ebook that could sell another one, or an affiliate product. To do this you need to include active hyperlinks within your text, or in resource boxes. When people click on such links they will be more likely to buy because their mind will already be on the subject associated with the link. In other words, this is a much more targeted link than one sent in an email, for instance. Each of your ebooks should include links to as many of your other ebooks as possible, as well as to affiliate products which you sell. The result will be several sales you might not have been able to obtain otherwise.
